Handling Classes

Each session runs for 6 weeks, and can only accommodate a limited number of dogs, so register early.
There will a one week break between sessions to allow for rescheduling of cancelled classes, due to weather or required use by the Congregation.
Please make sure your animal’s shots are up to date.
In order to attend classes, you must fill out this waiver (click to download and print) and bring it with you to your first class.

To those planning to attend these sessions, please note there will be 2 classes.

The first class will begin at 7:00 pm for table dogs.  Dogs that use ramps are to attend the 8:00pm time slot.
The second class will begin at 8:00 pm for dogs examined on the floor and ramp. No table dogs.
A great number of our students are drop-ins. To maintain reasonable class sizes, I would like to request that if you are planning to attend, if you could check in to make sure there is space available.
You are permitted to bring more than one dog, with the understanding that the class spot is per handler.  You may rotate your dogs thru the position you hold in the class line up.
Class sizes will be limited to a maximum of 8 students to maintain the quality of instruction and limit the exposure to Canine Influenza.
If your dog(s) show any signs of sickness, running nose, sneezing, coughing, please keep them at home.  If you have dog(s) at home that are not feeling well, please don’t come to class. There are many folks that have puppies and oldsters at home that may not survive these infections, which are contagious.
